Delta Try playing with the line width tool and the smooth tool in illustrator - it will clean up the imperfect curves and add a more stylised look and feel to the image.

Echo Agreeing with the removal of the hick-ups. In regards to the style/stroke... The thin line and the think eye don't match too well. The contrast seems too strong. So either the stroke thicker or the eye less dominant.
